Alcom built an online ordering system to help the health network control their budget, quality, and brochures versions.
The online ordering system did the following:
- Maintained brand and version control for the brochure
- Standardized the most used items so they could be printed in bulk for
cost savings
- Created real time reporting to break out the spend by practice and service line
- [Real- time] reporting helped the marketing team concentrate version updates on the most used service lines
- Established spending accounts to make sure each practice stayed within budget

- Immediately eliminated 30% of their printing limiting waste
- Printing and shipping costs were lowered drastically by having all of the practices order with one central ordering portal
- Brochure budget control from the portal allowed marketing funds to last longer
